Information about using VINCarTrace vehicle reports.
Using the service
Enter a 17-character VIN to request available vehicle records. Checking your own vehicle requires an account and an active report plan. The sample vehicle is available through the demo check, subject to the service’s demo limit.
Plans and payment
The report plans page shows the available features and VIN allowance. Review the price and payment details at checkout before completing a purchase. Your account shows your active plan and remaining allowance.
Understanding a report
Available records depend on the vehicle, country, selected plan and data sources. Missing records do not establish that an incident never occurred. A vehicle report should be considered alongside a physical inspection and the vehicle’s documents.
Account access
Use an email address you can access and keep your password private. Contact support if you cannot access your account or have a question about a report or payment.

For questions about access, billing or a report, contact [email protected]. Include the relevant order reference when available. Never send your password or payment card details.
